The Lovell Elementary School cafeteria was transformed and draped in beautiful colors this weekend during the 7th annual Pindroppers Quilt Show. Quilts were on display Thursday through Saturday and visitors voted on their favorite quilt in each category to decide winners.
Best of show went to Mary Lou Doyle for her quilt “Forever Flowers 2.” Doyle also won with the same quilt in the large category. Carol Allred won the extra large category for her “Midnight Dreams” quilt. Rena Croft won the medium category for “My Blue Heron.” Linda Childs’ quilt, “Bears in the Rasberries,” took first place in the small quilt category. Irene Lely won the other category with her “Dominoe Fancy” placemats and Ashlee Lynn took home the youth category with her “Pinwheel Quilt.” Dominique Allred won the raffle quilt.
Pindropper Rena Croft said the guestbook at the quilt show contained about 215 signatures. |
