Doris Jean Schuster of Powell, died in Billings on Dec. 31, 2009. She was born Jan. 19, 1940.
She was the daughter of Grant A. Banks and Viola M. Robertson. Doris grew up in Cowley and married Robert Moody. All of her children were from that union.
Doris and Bob were later divorced. After her divorce she married Phillip Schuster and spent many enjoyable years working as a nurse in California and Wyoming. She was fond of collecting dolls, and fishing with Phil. She loved to travel and visit family, especially her children. She also liked baseball. Her favorite player was Dale Murphy. She and her grandson used to trade baseball cards.
Doris is survived by her mother, Viola, of Cody; six children, Brent (Merlene) Moody of Orem Utah, Debra (John) Jones of Twin Falls, Idaho, John (Elizabeth) Moody of Kaysville, Utah, Scott (Vanessa) Moody of Ivins, Utah, Cindy (Jeffrey) Justice of Houston, Texas and Sherri (Clint) Tomlinson of Orem, Utah; brother, Don (Sydney) Banks, of Cody; sisters Colleen Baca of Evanston, Carol (Jim) Kemp of Dubuque, Iowa; 29 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Doris was preceded in death by her father, Grant, and her husband, Phillip.
Funeral services will be at the LDS chapel at 1407 Heart Mountain Street in Cody on Friday Jan. 8, 2010, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Cody.
