Crews contracted by the Custer National Forest are getting ready to begin work repairing and rebuilding a section of fence that separates the Pryor Mountain Wild Horse Range from adjacent National Forest land designated as a natural wilderness area.

Citizens who received the qualifying number of write-in votes for north Big Horn County town council and mayor seats have been deciding whether to accept the nominations and be added to the ballot for the Nov. 2 General Election, Big Horn County Clerk Dori Noyes said this week.

Lovell-area students will have to give up their summer break and head back to school next week, as Big Horn County School District No. 2 begins classes for the 2010-11 school year Monday, Aug. 30. Teachers reported back to work at the district one week prior on Monday, Aug. 23.
