Numbers down, but spirits still up at celebration

A celebration of Hispanic heritage would not be complete without a mariachi band. Knowing this, co-sponsors of this year’s gala, the Greybull Arts Council and BOCES, had contracted the band Mariachi De Mi Tierra Utah for Saturday’s event.

Alaska trip a family affair for Andersons

Gary Anderson returned to Greybull recently with more than 80 pounds of freshly caught fish and memories of time spent with his two sons Shane and Ryan and his brother Randy on their every-other-year guys' trip to Sitka, Alaska.

Lovell mayor announces resignation

Lovell mayor Kevin Jones on Tuesday night announced his intention to resign as mayor due to a family move out of town.

The announcement came near the end of the regular September meeting of the council at the Lovell Community Center.

Kane Historic Trail dedication set for Sept. 25

Members of the Lovell-Kane Museum board and the National Park Service are joining forces for the creation of an interpretive walking path at the Kane town site east of Lovell featuring a series of signs telling the history of the town that ceased to exist in 1965 with the creation of the Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area.
