The Lovell Rodeo Club held the annual rodeo royalty contest in Basin Sunday.

Daisy Carpenter was crowned as the 2025 Lovell Rodeo Club queen, and Oakley Bischoff is the Lovell Rodeo Club princess.

Daisy is the 14-year-old daughter of Jack and Jill Carpenter of Lovell. She is an eighth grader at Lovell Middle School.

Daisy enjoys roping, rodeo, anything with cows or horses, hunting, fishing, hanging out with friends and family, helping others, leatherwork and just overall having fun, according to her queen contest profile. Her plans for the future are to become a horse trainer/rancher. If she goes to college, she would like to go to Central Wyoming College in Riverton or the University of Wyoming for horse training or some type of agriculture finance or consulting.

Oakley is the 13-year-old daughter of Tyrell and Charis Bischoff of Lovell. She is currently in the seventh grade at Lovell Middle School. Oakley enjoys anything to do with art, riding, rodeo, reading, 4-H, volleyball and running.

She has had a lot of different job ideas for her future, but she is currently thinking about equine massage. She would like to attend Northwest College for two years, then go to college at Laramie County Community College or UW because of their strong agriculture programs.

Miss Rodeo Wyoming, Dusty Miller, formerly of Cowley, drove from Texas to be one of the judges for the event Sunday. Also judging were Brenda Barkley and Sky Grant.

Other royalty candidates were Cassidy Hahn, Charlotte Heffington and Nellie Guccion.
