Rocky Mountain High School students dance the night away to the theme Garden Party Friday night as the school hosts the annual RMHS Junior Prom in the school’s auxiliary gym.

According to junior class sponsor Vicki Arnold, doors will open at 7:30 p.m. for photos by Ramie Edwards, and the grand march will begin at 8:30 p.m. in the auxiliary gym, followed by the junior promenade dance choreographed by Lacey Bassett, Val Crosby and Madison Grandalen.

The promenade will be followed by the crowning of the junior royalty and the royalty dance, with royalty member parents joining in mid-dance.

After the ceremonies, parents will be invited to depart, and the dance will continue until 11:30 p.m. with music provided by DJ Logan Moore.

Tickets for the prom are $10 per person, and a $2 donation is requested for spectators.

Assisting Arnold as fellow junior class sponsors are Aric Hanusa, Josh Sponsel, Colton Hodge and Anna Anderson.

A post-prom bowling party for juniors and seniors and their dates only will be held at Rose City Lanes from midnight to
2 a.m.
