Sheriff’s report: Railroad crossing lights malfunction

The Big Horn County Sheriff’s Department received the following calls for the week of ovember 6 to November 12:
Nov. 8: 4:25 p.m. - A grey Toyota was reported to be stopping at pastures with livestock on Lane 3 near Frannie.
4:33 p.m. - A vehicle with mechanical problems damaged a mailbox on Hwy 310 in Lovell.
Nov. 10: 11:37 a.m. - An officer initiated a traffic stop at milepost 222 on Hwy. 310. The driver was cited for not having insurance.
Nov 11: 12:23 p.m. - The railroad crossing lights on Highway 14A E near Lovell were reported to not be shutting off. A crew was sent to repair the lights.
Note: The calls listed above were received by Big Horn County Sheriff’s Department. Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the County Attorney.
