Shumway, DuRee to wed

Joseph Shumway and Jessica DuRee have announced their upcoming marriage. The couple met in June of 2024, and their love continues to grow as they create a future together, combining their two families.

Jessica grew up in Billings, where her parents and two brothers live with their families, her sister lives in Cody with her family. Jessica was married for almost 20 years before the tragic death of her husband, Braydan, in 2023. Jessica has four children, Kaleb, 18, Eliza, 16, Jane, 13, and Isaac, 8.

Joseph is from Laramie. He came to Lovell in 2014, and he has enjoyed being involved in the community. He is the father of four children, Grace, 22, Taggart, 18, Claire, 15, and Jameson, 11.

They will live in Cody and look forward to continuing to build a happy life together in the Big Horn Basin.
