‘Arabian Nights’ theme for Saturday’s Junior Prom

Buff Gym will be turned into an enchanted “Arabian Nights” fantasy land for Saturday’s Junior Prom. The evening kicks off at the Greybull High School auditorium at 9 a.m. with the grand march, followed by the crowning of queen and king. Queen candidates are Aftin DeRosa, Madi Kraft and Madi Edeler; king candidates are Zach Zeller, Luis Burgos and Treston Tracy.

The dance in the gym is from 10 p.m. – 1 a.m.

The after-prom party at the Herb Asp Community Center starts at midnight. Party-goers must be in the center no later than 1:30 a.m.

Nachos and sloppy nachos will be furnished. Freshmen are asked to take fruits and dips; sophomores, meats and cheeses; juniors, desserts (cookies, bars, etc.) and seniors, chips and dips.

Activities include some of the “old favorite” games, some new ones, different ones, such as the corn-hole games with beanbags.

There are lots of gift certificates (good prizes for the games) that will be given out throughout the evening. Drawings for the 15-18 “big prizes” start at 3:30 a.m. Students must be present to win.

Anyone who leaves the center before the party is over will NOT be allowed to return.
