Barbara Asay Kryger
Aug. 15, 1953 – Nov. 9, 2025
Barbara Asay Kryger, 72, of Lovell passed away at Billings Clinic Hospital of natural causes on November 9, 2025.
She was born in Lovell on August 15, 1953, to Bernadine Claire Marshall Asay and Verner Leroy Asay. Barbara was a wonderful woman who loved drives and was always going somewhere. She was very outgoing. She loved hanging out with her best friend Barbara Yoshioka (deceased). She attended South High School in Salt Lake City, Utah, before joining the work force at Ocean Pacific.
Barbara met the love of her life, William M. Kryger, in 1981 in Salt Lake City. Excited to start their new lives together, Barbara proposed to William, and the two were married in Salt Lake City on August 15, 1985.
Though she loved going for drives and seeing the wild horses, Barbara’s favorite role was that of a grandparent. She treasured all her time with her grandkids and loved being there with and for each and every one of them.
Nobody could’ve asked for a better woman and will miss her every day. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved and will always love her.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Bernadine Claire Marshall Asay and Verner Leroy Asay, brother Leroy Asay and loving and loyal husband William M. Kryger.
She is survived by her sister, Virginia Asay of Taylorsville, Utah, son Cody (Deana) Kryger and all seven of her grandchildren.
