Big Horn County Republicans elect officers

 The Big Horn County Republican Party held its organizational meeting March 14 in Basin.

The focus of this
meeting was to elect new executive committee members.  

Twenty-three registered Republicans were present, with 20 being precinct committee members who could vote. 

There was one guest, a youth who helped with set-up and clean-up. 

The executive committee stayed almost the same: Sharon Hall, county chairwoman; Rox Anne Brewer, vice-chairwoman; and Janice Wantulok, treasurer.

The state committeeman and committeewoman will be Scott Brown and Raelene Wood.

The one change is Tami Groth replacing Raelene Wood as secretary.

The next meeting will be a regular meeting on Monday, April 14, at the Big Horn County Weed & Pest building.  A social mingle starts at 6 p.m. with the meeting to follow at 7 p.m.

All registered Republicans are encouraged to attend and discuss what is important to them and the direction of the county, state and national Republican Party.

The next State Central Committee meeting will be May 2-3 in Cody. All registered Republicans are encouraged to attend. This will be the state organizational meeting, focused on elections of executive committee members.
