Buffalo Bill Reservoir water supply meeting set for April 4

The Bureau of Reclamation has scheduled a Buffalo Bill Reservoir water information meeting in Powell.

The meeting will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 4, at the Northwest College Center for Training and Development, located at 1102 East 7th Street.

Topics of discussion will be current water supply conditions, the spring 2025 snowmelt runoff forecast and 2025 projected reservoir operations.

Buffalo Bill Reservoir near Cody has a storage capacity of 646,565 acre-feet and provides irrigation water to approximately 95,000 acres. It is a source of municipal water supply to multiple communities, and its power generation facilities provide electricity to thousands of homes.
