It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

I noticed Josh Gruell (town maintenance) putting up Christmas lights and decorations at Memorial Park yesterday. That should get us in the spirit of the season as we round that curve into town. On the corner of Bighorn and Main, the Wagners and Petrichs are the first to set the high bar for the rest of us to brave the cold and get some lights out.

If you haven’t been out to see those displays, it’s worth a dash outside. We had planned on putting our kids to work on hanging lights, but coming from Arizona they spent a lot of time wrapped in blankets. We really didn’t want to spend the Thanksgiving vacation shivering outside anyway. It is always great to have lots of family gathered around the Thanksgiving feast. I am never quite at peace until they have safely traveled the long roads and arrived home.
It has become common to get Christmas decorations up before Thanksgiving. I haven’t gotten on that bandwagon yet. Now that turkey day is behind us, I wish I had.
Don’t forget the Morning with Santa for breakfast Saturday, Dec. 2. Join us at town hall. Get a picture with Santa and enjoy gathering with friends.
