Craig (Rick) Richard Kober

June 9, 1960 – Oct. 12, 2021 Craig (Rick) Richard Kober, 61, of Greybull, Wyo., passed away on Oct. 12, 2021 at Three Rivers Health in Basin, Wyo. Rick was born on June 9, 1960 to Ester Del phine Palmer and Richard Henry Kober in Powell, Wyo. He had two brothers, Mark (Ginny) Kober of Sheridan, Wyo., David Kober of Billings, Mont., and a sister, Linda Kober Gossens.

Rick attended part of grade school in Powell until his family moved to the Big Horn Basin area in 1969 where he finished from third through 12th grade in Greybull High School. For col lege, Rick attended the University of Wyoming, Black Hills State, and NWCC. He married the love of his life, Lynn Hazaleus, on July 2, 1999, and they had a wonderful daughter together, Savannah Jordan Kober.

Rick’s many hobbies included fast pitch, which he did for 23 years, fishing, attending his daughter Sa vannah’s sport meets, and taking especially good care of his 1969 Buick Skylark convertible. Like many of us, Rick’s first job was a paperboy. He later moved on to working for the railroad and did some construction work in his early years. He was also a sales manager for Rocky Mountain Shirtworks and a part owner of Brown and Gold. Rick was also very accomplished and had his own businesses, Kober's Decorative ANB and Bucking Horse Graphics.

Rick is preceded in death by his mother “Trudie” Kober, sister Linda Gossens, his uncle Chuck Palmer, aunt Betty Sallee, uncles Les and Jim Palmer, and his aunt Jeanene Harris. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Kober; daughter, Savan na Kober; father, Richard "Dick" Kober, two brothers, Mark (Ginny) Kober and Da vid Kober.

A service took place at Grace Southern Baptist Church on Oct. 23, 2021, followed by an open gathering at a private residence. Cremation took place at the Antelope Butte Crematory in Greybull, Wyo., by Atwood Family Funeral Directors.
