Danny Allen Graham

 

Danny Allen Graham, 66, of Burlington, Wyo., died Nov. 20 in Basin, Wyo. He was born to William Vernice (Vern) Graham and Betty Joan Allen. He attended North Star Elementary and Central Junior High in Anchorage, Alaska, and graduated from Burlington High School in 1973. He married Ranae Shumway on Jan. 19, 1980, and they had one son, Travis. Ranae and Danny were later divorced. Danny loved spending time with his five grandchildren, Toran, Mikayla, Leah, Levi and Tyler; his favorite things to do with them were fishing, cutting wood in the mountains and four wheeling. They are the children of Travis and Chelsi Neves Graham of Powell, Wyo. 

His siblings are Debbie (Jerry) Anderson of Orem, Utah, Carrie (Adrian) Preator of Burlington, Lynn (Judy) Wiles of Burlington, Clair (Ruth) Wiles of Redmond, Ore., Mark (Dianna) Wiles of Burlington, and his mother, Betty Anderson of Basin. He had many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

 Danny was good with his hands and mechanic work. He was always the first one called by family and friends for ideas on how to fix things. He loved to read, go fishing and drive around in his truck. Dan enjoyed spending time with his family and loved being part of their lives. He was a small engine mechanic and received his training at A to Z Rental in Phoenix.

He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Arizona. He especially liked serving on the Hopi Indian Reservation. He lived with his mother the last years of his life. Those preceding him in death were Alfred Allen and Della Allen, Vern Graham, Bill and Millie Shumway, Keith and Floeese Weston and Byron Graham.

A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, at the Burlington Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Atwood Family Funeral Directors.
