David Scott Hatch
April 23, 2002 – Dec. 2, 2023
David Scott Hatch, born April 23, 2002, left our embrace on December 2, 2023.
David was born to True and Beth Hatch. He was raised in the Lovell area his entire life. He shared his childhood with his three brothers, Travis, Jonathan and Nathan. He also has a sister, Tiffany.
David graduated from Rocky Mountain High School in 2020, and from that point he’s spent his time working at anything that caught his interest. David was known far and wide as a helper who loved to fix things and help people. If he thought he could figure it out, he would give it a go. He was always going somewhere to help someone with something.
He lived for the adventure with his friends and family, and he was never in one place for long. He loved to fish and camp, have bonfires with his friends and would never turn down a chance to do something new. Fixing up old stuff was his true passion, though, from old boats to old generators. It’s what he truly loved.
He will be remembered as the little boy and young man who would and could.
David left this life due to a tragic accident, but will continue to live as an organ donor.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Scott Brown, and many other loved ones who he will get to meet.
He is survived by his dad, True; mom Beth; brothers Travis Dohnal Hatch of Cody, Jonathan Dohnal Hatch of Cheyenne and Nathan Hatch of Lovell; sister Tiffany Hatch of Cody; grandparents Ray and Sue Hatch and Tom and Terri McPhee; grandma Sheri; aunts and uncles; as well as many cousins.
David’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, Dec. 9, at the LDS Church in Byron. Viewing will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m. Please help us honor him and support our family with your attendance. We appreciate love and prayers from those who can’t physically be there. Interment will be in the Byron Cemetery.
