District 2 superintendent search narrowed down

The board of trustees for Big Horn County School District No. 2 narrowed down the possible contenders for the next superintendent to three candidates that were interviewed and participated in community forums on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The three potential hires are Steve Burch of Fairview, Wyoming; Dan Grabowska of Park City, Montana; and William Hiser of Lovell. Hiser is currently the principal at Lovell Middle School.

Community members, staff and administrators attended the forums, and a series of questions were asked of each gentleman.

Résumés for the candidates can be found on the school district website, and a decision on filling the position likely will be made by the end of the week.
