Dusty Miller to vie for Miss Rodeo America
The reigning Miss Rodeo Wyoming, Cowley’s own Dusty Miller, will be off to Las Vegas next week to compete for the title of Miss Rodeo America.
The daughter of Kie and Christy Miller, Dusty was named Miss Rodeo Wyoming following a competition at the Wyoming State Fair in August of 2024, and she took office on January 1, 2025. Since that time, she has represented Wyoming at many events including various fairs and Cheyenne Frontier Days.
Miller is a 2019 graduate of Rocky Mountain High School and earned an Associate of Science Degree in animal science at Northwest College. She runs an equine rehabilitation business for performance horses in Cowley.
The Miss Rodeo America contest will run from November 29 through December 2 at the South Point Casino in Las Vegas, and the competition includes interview, horsemanship, speeches, a fashion show and more.
