Oct. 10, 1931 – Nov. 11, 2025

On November 11, 2025, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Eleanor Jean Lindsay Wagner, 94, passed away in Basin.

She was born to Heber Owen and Myrle (Johnson) Lindsay in Lovell on October 10, 1931. Eleanor was the fourth of five children.

She attended school in Lovell. On March 13, 1948, Eleanor and Harold Roland Wagner were united in marriage. Together they had six children, Steven, John, Mariann, Harold, Karen and Kenneth. They were sealed in the Provo Utah Temple on June 18, 1975.

Eleanor served in church in many different callings. She loved to sing and was in various singing groups. She was a talented seamstress and could crochet anything. Raising a large garden and then canning everything was a task that she loved. She was a member of the Lovell Woman’s Club and Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Playing games together, fishing, camping and baking are just a few things that she enjoyed. She would organize large family gatherings, bringing everyone together. She will forever be an example to her family, which she loved greatly. Everything that she did was because of this love and the love she had for her Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, two brothers, one sister, husband and daughter Mariann.

Eleanor is survived by her daughter, Karen (Wade) Myrick; sons Steven (Vickey) Wagner, John (Sheila) Wagner, Harold (Laurie) Wagner and Kenneth (Brenda) Wagner; sister Phyllis Denton; 22 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.
