First tournament of the season held at Foster Gulch
Twenty teams hit the links Saturday for the fifth annual Foster Gulch fundraising tournament at the Foster Gulch Golf Course southwest of Lovell.
Results are as follows:
Two-person scramble front nine:
1st place McKay Baxendale and Lane Hoover
2nd place Carson May and Brenen Hinckley
3rd place Eric Honeyman and Russ Wilkerson
Four-person scramble back nine:
1st place Mike McCollam, Jenifer Prentiss, Kirby Winland, Tim Winland
2nd place Eric Honeyman, Russ Wilkerson, Ritch McCollam, Mossie Mostert
3rd place Craig Lundberg, Danny Wolvington, Pete Baxendale, Jake Lohof
Flag prizes: Hole 2 closest to the pin in one – Tim Winland, Hole 4 closest second shot – Eric Honeyman, Hole 5 long drive –McKay Baxendale, Hole 6 long putt – Brad Baxendale, Hole 7 closest second shot -Eric Honeyman, Hole 8 long putt – Klete Kinser Jr.
Foster Gulch board member Tim Winland said 40 golfers participated on the 20 teams, adding that it was a beautiful day to kick off the first tournament of the year.
The next tournament is the first co-ed tournament on Saturday, June 15, beginning at 9 a.m. People can call the clubhouse to sign up.
