Free meals provided during the summer

Big Horn County School District No. 1 has announced the Summer Food Service Program for children attending schools in the district – the communities of Byron, Cowley, Deaver and Frannie.

Meals are available at no charge to children 18 years of age or younger and will be distributed every Tuesday from June 3 through August 5 at the Rocky Mountain Middle/High School cafeteria in Cowley between 7 a.m. and noon.

District food services director Annette Moss said a week’s worth of breakfast and lunch will be provided to each person participating.
