Wyoming Department of Transportation officials recently announced that pavement and bridge improvements were scheduled to begin Monday, Sept. 21, on the stretch of highway between Garland and Byron.
The 4.24-mile, $2.4 million project will run east from the U.S. Highway 14A intersection with Wyoming 114 to the Big Horn County line. Work will include asphalt milling, paving, chip sealing and bridge rehabilitation, according to WYDOT.
Drivers should expect delays of up to 20 minutes during construction, WYDOT said. Mountain Construction of Lovell will complete the work, with the project scheduled to be finished by August 31, 2028.
