Gary Max Wambeke

Gary Max Wambeke, 68, passed away peacefully February 21, 2026, at Hospice of Wichita Falls in Texas after a short diagnosis of cancer.

Gary was born on May 14, 1957, in Lovell to George and Maxine Wambeke. He grew up in Lovell and graduated from Lovell High School in 1975.

Gary has lived in Seymour, Texas, for many years and recently retired from the County Road and Bridge in Seymour.

He was preceded in death by his father, George.

Gary is survived by his wife, Beverly, mother Maxine Wambeke and sister Georgette (Nick) Lewis.
