Lovell Library hosts Monday bingo games

Lovell Library will be hosting bingo every Monday at 1 p.m. until May. Participants can play up to eight games at no cost and have a chance to win prizes.

“People who come to play can get three bingo cards,” said Lovell Library manager Cathy Collins. “Everyone gets to play six rounds of regular bingo and two blackout bingo, and just for showing up, participants can enter for door prizes. Bingo winners will earn book bucks; if anyone wants a shot at the door prize, it will cost three book bucks for a chance to win.”

Collins said it is questionable whether the Lovell Library will continue bingo next year. She said it all depends on how many people come to the library to play. But for now, bingo will continue until May, and a decision will be made.

“Last week, we only had two people to come to play bingo, and the following week, only one person came,” Collins said. “We only had seven or eight people total who have come to play bingo, so we will continue to play until May, and then a decision will be made.”

Lovell Library welcomes anyone 18 and older to play Monday bingo and is looking to attract as many people as possible. For additional information, come to the Lovell Library or contact Collins at 307-548-7228.
