Jody Ann (Bischoff) McClure

Jody Ann (Bischoff) McClure, born September 30, 1963, passed away peacefully at her home on January 4, 2026. She will be remembered for her compassion, humor and unwavering devotion to family, friends and community.
Jody met her husband, Greg McClure, in 1984, and they married the following year. Together they raised three children, Kody, Dustin (Dusty) and Megan. Jody’s love and encouragement shaped their lives. A mother figure to her brothers as well, she offered guidance and care that deeply influenced her family.
Her nursing career included serving as the school nurse in Lovell (1991–2000) and director of nursing at New Horizons Care Center (2000–2008), and later she worked in the quality department at North Big Horn Hospital until her retirement in 2021. Her dedication, kindness and leadership touched countless students, patients and colleagues.
Outside of work, Jody loved riding horses, spending time in the mountains, watching “Outlander,” enjoying family gatherings and finding treasures on “QVC.” Her wit, warmth and generous spirit brightened every day.
Jody was preceded in death by her son, Dustin Paul McClure, mother JoAnn Franckowiak, grandparents Edna and Roy Arnoldus, grandmother Helen Tebbs Bischoff and many other beloved family members.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Greg McClure; son Kody McClure; daughter Megan McClure (Aaron Monterde); father Mack (Kelly) Bischoff; brothers Ron Bischoff, Jim (Angela) Franckowiak, Robert (Tawnya) Franckowiak and Scott (Tonya) Franckowiak; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 10, at 10 a.m. at the LDS Church in Lovell, followed by burial at the Lovell Cemetery.
A benefit account has been established in her name at Big Horn Federal under Megan McClure. Flowers can be sent to the LDS Church prior to the service.
