Jolley continues strong season for RMMS grapplers
Rocky Mountain Middle School eighth grader Benson Jolley has continued to excel over the last two weekends of wrestling competition for the Grizzlies as the team looks forward to the conference tournament next week in Thermopolis.
Jolley captured first place at the Laurel, Montana, Invitational Saturday with a 3-0 record in the 118-125-pound weight class, crushing Kaliber Emmet of Columbus by a 15-0 technical fall in the championship match.
He also won the 125-pound A division at the Greybull Invitational on November 16, going 4-0 and pinning Riley Wiggins of Greybull in the title match.
Also at the Greybull meet, sixth grader Harper Griffin won the girls 103-105 weight class by winning both of her matches, pinning Olivia Wenzel of Greybull in 1:06 to take the medal.
Sixth grader Henry Pincoske captured the 103-110-pound B division at Greybull with a 3-0 record, edging Fabien Garcia of Worland for the crown.

Second place – Moore, 81-87, 2-1;
Third place – Blank, 89-91, 3-1;
Fourth place – Griffin, 96-105, 2-2, Malson, 144-151, 2-2, Michael Broederlow, 173-190, 2-2.
Also competing were Tripp Hopkin (1-2), Unruh (1-2), Walker, Harris, Pincoske (1-2), Rowan Hanusa, Hetland and Tejeo Scheeler (1-2).
After taking the Thanksgiving weekend off, the Grizzlies will return to action for the conference tournament Saturday, Dec. 7, in Thermopolis, with action set to begin at 10 a.m.
