Justin Leon Harris
Sept. 5, 1977 – Aug. 17, 2026
It is with deep sorrow we announce that Justin Leon Harris, a master mason, laid down his working tools for the last time on August 17, 2026.
Justin was born to Walter “Leroy” Harris and Connie Diana Hendricks in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on September 5, 1977.
Throughout his life, Justin was surrounded by brotherhood, a bond he loved deeply and carried with him wherever he went. His siblings, Clayton Harris and Janet (Jack) Hawkins, were an important part of his world and held a special place in his heart.
In 2018 Justin met his wife, Ree’Dawn. By the end of their first handshake they knew forever was where they were meant to be. By 2020 they were married, and in late 2021 welcomed their son, Justin “Boogie” Harris, into the world. Boogie will forever be Justin’s most cherished accomplishment.
Justin took pride in everything he pursued, from his work and racing to rodeo, fatherhood and Freemasonry. Whatever he put his hands to, he gave his heart. He was a man who valued hard work, brotherhood, family and the things he loved.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter “Leroy” Harris, stepfather Jerry Harris and his sweet Dally dog, Dally Mae.
Justin is survived by his wife, Ree’Dawn Harris; son Justin “Boogie” Harris; siblings Clayton Harris and Janet (Jack) Hawkins; nieces and nephew; great-nieces and -nephews; chosen brothers Trenton (Kacie) Dawes, George Comer and Wesley (Jessica) Moore; and numerous people he loved and cared for.
A celebration of life was held in his honor Wednesday, Aug. 26, at 2 p.m. at the Gene Autry Masonic Lodge in Catoosa, Oklahoma.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Gene Autry Catoosa Lodge #185, PO Box 952, Catoosa, OK 74015, a place Justin loved and felt at home.
