Lamb of God production features Basin performers
A number of performers with strong ties to Big Horn County are participating in the Easter production of Rob Gardner’s Lamb of God next week in Billings.
Lamb of God will be performed Friday and Saturday, March 27 and 28, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 29, at 4 p.m. at the Lincoln Center, 415 N. 30th St. in Billings. The production is sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
“Please consider inviting your families, neighbors and friends to an Easter choral and orchestra performance, which will be held at the Lincoln Center over Palm Sunday weekend,” said Kristi Jones Browning of Billings, who grew up in Cowley. “This free event is a production of Rob Gardner’s oratorio Lamb of God, which covers the final days of Christ’s life through His resurrection and is all about the hope that is found only in Christ.
“In 2024, more than 60 local singers and instrumentalists presented Lamb of God to roughly 1,000 Billings attendees across three free performances. For 2026, we will welcome even more participants and guests.”
The performances next week are once again free.
Participating in the production with ties to Big Horn County along with Browning are Tamara Savage Wheeler, Lynn Walker Bassett, Nathan Williams, Sherman Watkins, Lafonda Mayes Humpherys, Joy Croft Fike, Karie Walker, Michael Wardell, Alyssa Grant Biddle and Wendy Morrison Winterholler.
