LES Turkey Trot set for Tuesday

Lovell Elementary School is holding a Turkey Trot next week to help promote fitness and fun.

According to second grade teacher Ashlee Burton, the event will take place during school on Tuesday, Nov. 26, beginning at noon and continuing until 3 p.m.

“We will be having K-5 students run one half or one mile at the track and will be awarding the first-place male and female winners of each grade level a turkey,” Burton said. “We will also acknowledge the second- and third-place male and female winners.

“Parents will be invited and encouraged to cheer from the stands.”
