Letter carriers organize to ‘Stamp Out Hunger’

CASPER (WNE) — On May 10, letter carriers across the country will pick-up and drop off mail as usual, but they hope to have more than normal to grab.

The National Association of Letter Carriers organizes the largest one-day food drive every year on the second Saturday in May.

The event, aptly named Stamp Out Hunger, asks people to leave non-perishable food items in or next to their mailbox to be collected by their local mail carriers.
