Letter to the Editor: A conversation with my friend

I was recently talking to a good friend about the Iran war. He was totally against it as President Trump is preventing a nuclear armed Iran. As he explained, when prevention is used you would never know what would happen. The terrorists in 2001 who brought the World Trade Center down and crashed into the Pentagon and the ground would have been prevented by an alert FBI, who would have believed it.

My friend went on to explain we should have left Iran alone. After they developed nuclear weapons, Iran attacks Israel and maybe the USA as their ballistic missile technology gets better. Let’s say Boston, Philadelphia, Washington and maybe New York, with a death total 15 to 20 million people. Israel’s death total 4 or 5 million. Who knows for sure? My friend said then we would be ready with the populace to go to war.

My friend said of the No Kings rally, King Trump can’t even fund TSA with all his kingly power. Most of the people at these No Kings rallies don’t even know why they are there, but the pay is good, the best protesters that George Soros and others can buy.
