Letter to the Editor: Many did great work for Mustang Days, community appearance

Dear Editor,

It happened again. Mustang Days was a huge success.

So many people came together in the planning and execution stages so that all of us who participate could have a great time.  All week, we rushed here and there to make sure we didn’t miss out.

So, this is a big shout-out to all who worked so hard and made things happen. Indeed, the planners made it seem easy, but we know they spent countless hours thinking through every detail, and then they dealt with the nervous anxiety of hoping it all would come together.

Another shout-out goes to the town crew. The baseball fields had to be groomed weekly, and the Armory Park project had to be completed. Yes, it is their job, but the town parks look great and so do the flower baskets that line Main Street. The rose gardens are stunning. It all shows that the crew takes pride in their hometown.

When the fabulous flower ladies are watering the flowers, give them a cheerful honk to show your appreciation for all they do to make Lovell beautiful.

Go ahead, just for fun, listen to Bon Jovi’s “I Love this Town.” It will put a spring in your step.
