Letter to the Editor: Political mess won’t be fixed in Washington
To the Editor,
The easiest thing to do right now, given this political and economic mess that America has gotten itself into, is to just feel completely disillusioned and give up, ignore what’s going on and let the people in charge worry about it. They can work things out. They always have in the past. That’s what they’re paid for. Right?
No. Not right. Way not right. In fact, the opposite of right. No one currently in Washington, D.C. is going to fix anything. And if you and I just ignore what’s going on there, the eventual outcome of it all will be our fault. No one else’s.
Vote.
