Letter to the Editor: We elected ‘America First’

Dear Editor,

Big Horn County voters elected President Donald J. Trump with 85.5 percent of the vote in 2024. That is a huge confirmation of approval from our county. We needed a big correction from the Biden years.

We had a wide-open border, and the Democrats were telling us it was closed. They let in 10s of millions of illegals, including gang members. They were given new clothes, hotel rooms and debit cards. They were registered to vote and welcomed by sanctuary cities. Many violently killed our citizens, leaving families to forever mourn their losses.

The Democrats continued to take the side of illegals, and judges would release them to our streets. They were given CDL licenses and couldn’t speak English or pass the test. Consequently, these drivers have been found going the wrong way on interstates, making illegal U-turns and killing innocent motorists. Democrats do not want ICE to take them off our streets, as they are their voters. That is why they don’t want to pass the Save America Act or fund Homeland Security.

We are very disappointed in your negative coverage of our President. Since your viewers are predominately his supporters, it seems you are following the mainstream media. They abandoned the pursuit of truth and objectivity. They no longer inform the public with accurate and factual information. All truth became subjective, a matter of opinion.
