The Lovell Middle School eighth-grade Lady Bulldogs dominated the A game against Worland on Tuesday at home.

The A team had an explosive win with a score of 55-8, while the B squad played two quarters and lost 24-7.

“The girls played really well,” head coach Lance Anderson said. “They moved the ball well and were patient in the offense. They are starting to play better with every game, and I’m excited to see what they will do come conference tournament. There is still a lot to work on. Powell and Cody will be tough, and we can’t look past any team we face.

“I’ve been stressing to these girls the importance of playing with intensity and also being patient. It’s sometimes a balancing act of meshing those two skill sets together, but they are improving all the time. I’m confident this group of girls can beat any team in our conference. They just have to want it and play the game they are capable of playing.”
