LMS runners finish season strong at Powell
Last week on October 9, the Lovell Middle School Bulldogs ran at their conference meet in Powell, ending the season strong. Though it was a little warm, Coach Joshua Sanders said the race went very well and that he could see the previous meets had a positive impact on their performance Thursday.
The top three boys were James Sanders, who finished in 35th place with a time of 13:40; Jackson Sanders, who finished 40th with a time of 13:49; Dagan Reuter, who finished in 54th place in 14:18.

Girls results
Leading the way for the Lovell girls was Treleah Two Two in ninth place with a time of 13:50. Coach Sanders was very pleased with her finishing in the top 10, noting, “During the race, while other racers were fading, Treleah had only gotten stronger.” After Two Two was Macee Winterholler in 33rd with a time of 15:00 and Kashlyn Collins 60th with a time of 15:58.

As the season ends, Sanders said, “I will miss the eighth graders who had really impressed me with their constant improvement since sixth grade. I am excited to see them keep the momentum as they enter high school this next year.
