Local bike clubs to host bike show fundraiser

The Galloping Goose Motorcycle Club and El Forastero Motorcycle Club of the Big Horn Basin will be celebrating 10 years with the 12th annual “Take A Flying Leap” ride and bike show on Saturday, August 10, at the Park County Fairgrounds in Powell.

The event will begin at 11 a.m. and include a live DJ and food vendors with proceeds going to help veterans.

To enter a bike into the show, it costs $20/per entry in the following divisions: touring, softail, cruiser, chopper/home build and classic 20 years plus.

There will be biker games, weenie bite, slow drags and keg roll costing $5 per attempt and 50/50 door prizes.

Prizes will be awarded to first and second place in each class with a grand prize for the People’s Choice including the winning bike featured on next year’s flyer/t-shirt and free entry into next year’s event.
