For the second year in a row, the Lovell High School cheerleading squad stepped up to help the school district host the Fall Roundup Dinner hosted by the Big Horn County School District No. 2 board of trustees recently.

The event featured the Wyoming School Boards Association and 10 surrounding school boards and superintendents from the area in an evening of dinner, dessert and training.

The LHS cheerleaders volunteered their time and efforts to help set up, clear and serve those in attendance.

“They did an exceptional job at representing our district’s students in their professionalism, great attitudes and dedication to hard work,” district executive secretary Celecia Gallagher said.

Gallagher specifically mentioned cheer captain Whitney Hendershot, who spent extra time setting up and showed fantastic leadership during the dinner, she said.

The girls served roughly 70 people that attended the event that lasted over an hour.
