Lovell Farmers Market coming to a close

The last Lovell Farmers Market of the season will be this week, Friday, Sept. 26, at Armory Park. According to organizer Sharron Nicholls it has been a very successful nine weeks for the market. 

“Some weeks we would have more than 20 vendors. We had corn for four consecutive weeks. This Friday we will have homemade ice cream from the Amish family from Penrose,” Nicholls said.

Some of the items that will be available at this final week’s market are sourdough bread, cinnamon rolls, cookies, pita bread, jams and jellies, cabbage rolls, gelato, hummus, fresh vegetables, canned vegetables, handmade crocheted pieces, 3-D products, Italian sodas, sweet butter, duck eggs, yogurt and granola.
