Lovell freshmen fall to Burlington

The Lovell freshman boys fought tooth and nail against the Burlington Huskies Monday night at Winterholler Gym before coming out on the short end of a 45-43 score.
Burlington led 18-14 at halftime, but Lovell outscored the visitors 17-15 in the third to trail by just two points after three quarters, 33-31. Each team scored 12 points in the fourth as Burlington held on to win.
Tyler Knowles led the Bulldogs with 13 points, and Anthony Garcia added 9, Grant Hill 7, Kyson Crosby 6, Dallin Bischoff and Aaiden Walker 3 apiece, Kade Durtsche 2.
The Lovell freshmen will play at Thermopolis Saturday at 10 a.m., at Powell Monday at 6:30 p.m. and at Worland Tuesday, also at 6:30.
