Lovell High School chapter enjoying active year
The Lovell FFA Chapter has been busy this fall, dedicating time and effort to community service projects that make a real impact. Members put their welding skills to use by constructing new handrails for the Hyart Theatre and creating informational boards for the Elk Fire.
We also participated in trick-or-treat for canned goods, gathering food donations for those in need, and we spread holiday cheer by making Christmas cards for the community. These projects reflect the chapter’s commitment to service and leadership.
In addition to giving back, Lovell FFA members have had exciting opportunities to compete and travel. They attended the FIRE/CPC leadership conference, where they enhanced their leadership skills and connected with other FFA members from around the state. Addisyn Perkins proudly represented our chapter at the National FFA Convention, competing in the national FFA Creed Contest. The chapter also saw success at the NILE, competing in livestock judging, veterinary science and horse judging — earning placements in the top 50% across all contests.
Looking ahead, the Lovell FFA is preparing for a busy spring with more competitions and activities. Members have been gearing up for upcoming contests and planning special events for FFA Week at the high school. With a strong focus on leadership, service and competition, the chapter continues to grow and make a lasting impact on both its members and the community.
