Lovell to host quarterly meeting of Republican State Central Committee

Big Horn County Republicans are hosting the quarterly Republican State Central Committee (SCC) meeting this weekend at the Lovell Community Center. All meetings are open to the public.
The meeting begins Friday with a fundraising dinner and program by Andy Nelson of the Clear Out West Radio Show. Dinner begins at 6 p.m. Live and silent auctions are planned; proceeds remain in Big Horn County. Tickets are $60. Elected state officials often attend and give updates on Friday evenings and/or Saturdays during the SCC meetings. Curt Meier, the state treasurer, plans to attend. So, too, does Reid Rasner, who is running for Sen. John Barrasso’s seat in the U.S. Senate.
A light breakfast will be available beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, with a donation of $10. The meeting will be called to order at 9 a.m. and include a brief time for public comment, comments from elected officials, reports from executive committee members, as well as reports from various coalitions around the state. There will also be discussions on resolutions for members to consider. Lunch of soup and salad will be provided for a donation of $15.
