Lundberg wins Foster Gulch Open

Collegiate golfer Adessa Lundberg showed how she earned that college scholarship Saturday, winning the Foster Gulch Open Championship with a score of 74 in gross scoring, edging Lovell High School golf coach Dane Robertson in the championship flight. Robertson shot a score of 77.

Adessa’s father Craig Lundberg placed first in net scoring in the championship flight with a score of 75.8, followed by Morgan Baxendale at 77.6.

Other results were as follows:

“A” Flight -- 1st gross, Josh Sponsel, 77; 2nd gross, Tom Bassett, 84; 3rd gross, Randy Wacker, 87; 1st net, Todd Baxendale, 70.3; 2nd net, Pete Baxendale and Dan Wolvington, each 75.9;

“B” Flight – 1st gross, Brad Baxendale, 82; 2nd gross, Steve Coleman, 85; 1st net, Jimmy Graham, 72.5; 2nd net, Jake Bischoff, 76.8.
