After they wed, they moved to Dubois, Idaho, then ultimately settled in Basin in 1970.Maggie was the most beautiful, loving, caring nurse who touched the lives of everyone she was in contact with throughout her 49-year nursing career.  She loved her monkeys and her Coca-Cola bears. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother. She is survived by her husband Jim Metro of Basin; son Tim Metro (Janell) of Basin; daughter Tina (Clint) Nelson of Cheyenne; grandchildren Emilie Skinner, Trent Metro, Sydney Nelson, Jessika Nelson and Megan Nelson.Maggie wished to have her friends and family gather to laugh and share their precious memories in a remembrance of her life at the Eagles Lodge in Basin on Nov. 25 from 2– 5 p.m.In lieu of monetary donations, a contribution to a favorite charity in Maggie’s honor is a wonderful way to commemorate her memory. She also loved plants and flowers. They always brightened her day, and she would be pleased to have flowers or plants sent to the Wyoming Retirement Center in Basin in her memory.Atwood Family Funeral Directors assisted the family with the arrangements.
