Majors and minors seasons underway

The Big Horn County Little League majors and minors have started their seasons with games last week.
In minor league action, the Braves went 2-0 in Greybull last Thursday, beating their opponent 13-0 and 16-3.
The Rays also beat a team from Greybull 6-3 and 13-0 on Thursday in Lovell.
The Twins had their first game on Tuesday against the Rays and almost pulled off a last inning comeback before falling 6-5.
The late game on Tuesday between the Twins and Braves was cancelled due to weather.
Games will continue next Tuesday, May 14, with the Rays traveling to Greybull for a doubleheader at 5:30/7 p.m.
The Braves will face the other Greybull squad at 5:30 p.m. before the Twins face Greybull in the 7 p.m. game in Lovell.
Majors
For the majors, the Pirates and Rockies both have three games under their belts so far.
On Thursday, the Pirates traveled to Greybull and split with their 12U team, winning the first game 8-3 before taking a 4-7 loss.
The Rockies had home games against the Bandits of Greybull and swept them 2-1 and 6-1 in the outing.
On Tuesday, the two Lovell squads battled the weather to face off with one another at the Northeast Little League Complex for the first of many games against each other.
The Rockies edged out the Pirates 6-5.
The Pirates had a 5-4 lead heading into the final inning before Thomas Nichols hit a two-run walk-off double to steal the victory.
The Rockies travel to Greybull for a 1 p.m. game on Saturday, then again on Tuesday at 5:30/7 p.m.
The Pirates will host Greybull on Tuesday,
May 14, for a doubleheader at 5:30/7 p.m.
