In loving memory of Milan Kent Sylvester, who was born Sept. 17, 1937, and died Dec. 15, 2021.

Kent was preceded in death by his father Raymond Sylvester, mother Vera Marie (Goul) Sylvester, brother Rexford Ray and grandson Kenneth Milan.

Kent is survived by his wife Cecelia (Cis) (Wickert); sons Raymond Kent and Becky (Boyd)-Paula (Smith), Jeffrey Earl and Karen (Norris), Timothy Warren and Marla (Davis) Michelle Rae and Herb Turner; grandsons Jeffrey, Brandon, Paul Kent, Timothy, Jonathan, Casey, Cassidy; granddaughters Kristen (Gregg) and Bree Jackson.  Kent was blessed with 12 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving is the Tyler Greer family, friends and family of AA, Kent's horse Fletcher and his dog Sadie.

Kent attended high school in Fortville, Ind., joining the Navy in 1955. 

He worked until retiring from Guide Lamp in Anderson, Ind., in 1993, where he was a tool-and-die maker.

Upon retirement he and Cis moved to Hyattville, Wyo., where he enjoyed being a cowboy and ranching. 

He owned a home in Alamo's Sonora, Mexico where he last visited in 2018 with one of his sons. He was a very popular guy with his Mexican friends!

Kent enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading and giving nicknames. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

A celebration of life is being planned for early summer. We will also honor Kent this spring near his birthplace of Fortville, Ind. Arrangements have been entrusted to Atwood Family Funeral Directors. Cremation has taken place at Antelope Butte Crematory in Greybull.
