Minchow returns from Gilbert, Arizona mission

Kennedi Minchow returned home on December 16 after serving an 18-month mission in Gilbert, Arizona, for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Kennedi is a 2023 graduate of Rocky Mountain High School.

On Sunday, Dec. 21, Minchow reported on her mission to family and friends in the Cowley 1st Ward. Her talk carried a Christmas theme and focused on how Jesus Christ can change lives and guide individuals through following his teachings and example.

When asked how her mission shaped her personally, Minchow said the experience taught her the importance of setting goals, making plans and following the influence of the Savior. She shared that these lessons helped her grow in confidence and accomplish things she once thought were beyond her reach.

Minchow plans to leave home again this fall to attend Brigham Young University–Idaho, where she will study women’s health.
