Newspaper announces early deadlines, changes in publication dates

With Christmas Day and New Year’s Day falling on Wednesdays when the post office will be closed, the Lovell Chronicle has changed the deadlines and publication schedules for their next two issues.

Next week’s issue will be printed and mailed on Monday, Dec. 23, meaning papers should be on newsstands that evening and in the mailboxes of local subscribers on Christmas Eve. Deadlines for the December 24 issue are noon Friday, Dec. 20, for display, classified and legal ads and 4 p.m. Friday for news copy.

Our New Year’s edition, meanwhile, will come out a day later than normal. It will be printed on Thursday, Jan. 2, and be on newsstands that night and in local mailboxes Friday, Jan. 3.  The advertising deadline is noon on Tuesday, Dec. 31.

The office of the Lovell Chronicle will be closed December 25 and 26 for Christmas and January 1 for New Year’s.
