No Messin’ Around wins Mustang Days volleyball tourney

A total of 18 teams competed in the annual Mustang Days volleyball tournament held on Saturday afternoon at Armory Park.

“We had a great day of volleyball,” event coordinator Natalie Collins said. “It was great to see so many teams coming and playing volleyball in our community.”

Team No Messin’ Around finished in first place of the gold bracket. Members of the team were Kindle Collins, Jett Hessenthaler, Jace Nicholls, Mason Moss, Jayden Nicholls and Kira Collins.

They defeated team Block Party in the championship match in two sets with scores of 25-19 and 28-26.

“It was a lot of fun watching all of the teams,” Collins said. “There were a lot of competitive teams this year, and it made for a great tournament.”
