A no track weekend

Local schools were unable to participate in any track and field meets over the weekend.

The Lovell Bulldogs were scheduled to compete at the Buffalo Invitational Saturday, but the meet was cancelled due to wet grounds in Buffalo.

There was a meet held in Greybull Saturday, but by the time Lovell officials found out the Buffalo meet was shelved, entries were closed for the Greybull meet.

Rocky Mountain high school and middle school teams did not have any meets planned last week due to spring break, and the Greybull Middle School meet set for Friday was postponed until April 26, leaving Lovell Middle School without a meet.

Both high schools are scheduled to compete at the L.A. Kohnke Invitational in Powell this Saturday, and both middle schools are slated for the Shoshone Invitational Saturday.
